"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities"
Leave it to Republicans to mock those organizations that allow the average person to voice his/her opinion about governmental failures and push to create change. I have no doubt that the vast majority of Conservatives believe as Palin did, as was evidenced by the roaring applause in teh building when she made her statement. I'm not sure, however, if I would advise using denigration of the common American citizen as a way to pander to the common American man.
