Palin does her best "Blues Brothers"...

...believes that the Iraq war is a "Mission from God."

The conservatives made quite the big deal about Obama's pastor. So are we now going to get unending political commentary about her association with Pastor Ed Kalnin's of Wasilla's Assembly of God Church and some of the batshit crazy malarkey HE has said in the past?

"Pastor Kalnins has also preached that critics of President Bush will be banished to hell; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war “contending for your faith;” and said that Jesus “operated from that position of war mode.”

Holy shit. Pun wholeheartedly intended.

The conservatives rationalized concentrating on Rev. Wright and ignoring John McCain's own pastoral endorsement by Rev. John Hagee because John McCain's political policy wasn't shaped by his time in the church (which is all but admitting to pandering, but that's another story), but let's see what they do to rationalize their ignorance of Palin's long-time membership and active participation in this ditty.
