Twins signed Jacque Jones to a minor league deal and an invite to Spring Training. Nice. I always liked Jones. He always had a great home-run trot and was, after all, one of the founding members of the "Soul Patrol" in the outfield of the Triple H Shitbox. Welcome back Jacque.
Now, do I think that Jacque has any shot at making the club out of Spring Training without significant injury problems with the slotted starters? Nope. The Twins have quite the crowded outfield and have very little room off the bench for a free swinging lefty with a sweet-tooth for strikeouts. But Jacque had some good years here and it will be nice to see him in a Twins uniform again, shagging flies and shooting for a spot. He always looked goofy wearing the other teams' colors. Especially the Tigers'. Ish.
